如何選擇和開發(fā)DeviceNet系統(tǒng)
DeviceNet是一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的網(wǎng)絡(luò)化解決方案,降低了成本及安裝設(shè)備和配線的時(shí)間,并提供良好的互換性,使得多家供貨商的產(chǎn)品可以像組件一樣可以互換。DeviceNet是一個(gè)開放的網(wǎng)絡(luò)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。其規(guī)范和協(xié)議都是開放的。供貨商不必購(gòu)買硬件,軟件,或許可權(quán)限,就可以把設(shè)備接入一個(gè)DeviceNet系統(tǒng)。其規(guī)范文本可以從Open DeviceNet Vendor Association Inc.( ODVA)獲得。
DeviceNet在達(dá)成眾多復(fù)雜設(shè)備之間的互操作性的同時(shí),也允許簡(jiǎn)單設(shè)備之間的互換性。DeviceNet通訊連接基于廣播的通訊協(xié)議,即CAN協(xié)議。1996年,CAN芯片的出貨量超過(guò)10million片。主要的一些CAN芯片的供貨商有Intel, Motorola, Phillips and Hitachi.
DeviceNet的出現(xiàn)有兩個(gè)目的:
傳送與現(xiàn)場(chǎng)級(jí)設(shè)備相關(guān)的控制信息.
傳送其它與系統(tǒng)控制間接相關(guān)的信息,比如配置信息(Configuration).
