Silicon的電源參考方案

Silicon的一款單相POL（PointOfLoad）參考設(shè)計(jì)，工程師可利用它輕松快速將數(shù)字控制POL應(yīng)用于各種終端應(yīng)用，包括服務(wù)器、電信、數(shù)據(jù)通訊、存儲(chǔ)系統(tǒng)、醫(yī)療設(shè)備和航空系統(tǒng)等等。這套參考設(shè)計(jì)是一款20A的POL，很適合封裝起來作為獨(dú)立的電源模塊或由OEM廠商直接用于終端應(yīng)用的電路板。這款POL參考設(shè)計(jì)包含一套完成系統(tǒng)配置的軟件，它能最大效率地實(shí)現(xiàn)動(dòng)態(tài)死區(qū)時(shí)間(deadtime)控制、為快速的瞬間響應(yīng)提供非線性控制、支持業(yè)界標(biāo)準(zhǔn)通訊協(xié)議的SMBus連接。

技術(shù)特點(diǎn)：

Si825x系列可編程數(shù)字電源控制器為開關(guān)方式電源系統(tǒng)提供閉環(huán)控制、系統(tǒng)保護(hù)和功率管理功能。獨(dú)創(chuàng)的Si825x結(jié)構(gòu)將一個(gè)專用的、基于DSP的控制環(huán)路處理器與一個(gè)在系統(tǒng)可編程的系統(tǒng)管理處理器結(jié)合在一起。這種結(jié)構(gòu)保證控制環(huán)路以10MHz的速度更新，而與固件尺寸和復(fù)雜度無關(guān)。固件可以在運(yùn)行中改變所有控制參數(shù)（環(huán)路增益、補(bǔ)償時(shí)間等），以使系統(tǒng)快速和智能地適應(yīng)變化的工作條件

The Si825x Single-Phase POL Reference Design implements a digitally-controlled POL with a DPWM (digital pulsewidth modulation) switching frequency of 391 kHz. The Si8252 Single-Phase POL Target Board (Figure 1) containssystem power stages and digital control circuits with debug connectors for the Si8252 digital power controller. Theuser can also access and control the target board using SMBus.

The Si825x Single-Phase POL Reference Design comes with Application Builder software (detailed in "8. Si825xApplication Builder” on page 12), a configurable real-time software Kernel, and a software Kernel compiledspecifically for the Si8252 Single-Phase POL Target Board.

PMBus is a connectivity solution designed for networking multiple power supplies using a single management bus.The Real-time Kernel provided with the Si825x Single-Phase POL Reference Design includes optional support forPMBus. In addition, the Si825x POL design kit also comes with a PMBus Monitor application and USB to SMBusBridge Board to manage the power supply through PMBus.
